2025 International Conference on Frontiers of Ocean Science and Technology

The "International Conference on Frontiers of Ocean Science and Technology" (ICFOST) is an important academic exchange platform within the "Defense Science and Technology High Ground Forum" series of events. The conference focuses on cutting-edge areas such as ocean dynamic processes, observation and detection technologies, and intelligent information processing. Its goal is to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and partnerships between military and civilian sectors in research, to advance China's marine technology innovation and discipline development, providing strong support for the national strategy of becoming a maritime power.

ICFOST 2025 marks the fourth consecutive session of the conference since its inception in 2022. The theme of this year's conference is "Embrace the Ocean, Focus on the Frontier." It is co-hosted by the College of Meteorology and Oceanography of the National University of Defense Technology and the School of Marine Science and Technology of Tianjin University. The event will be held from November 21 to 23, 2025, at the Peiyangyuan campus of Tianjin University. We sincerely invite experts and scholars from both domestic and international backgrounds to engage in in-depth exchanges.
