The Evaluation Conference on the Primary Report of the Transformation and Upgrade Course of Tianjin Marine Industry of the 13th Five-year Plan

In the morning of November 6th, the Evaluation Conference on the Primary Report of the Transformation and Upgrade Course of Tianjin Marine Industry of the 13th Five-year Plan was held in the No. 6 meeting room of the conference building of TJU.The evaluation panel reviewed the report submitted by the School of Marine Science and Technology. Deputies of the 13th Five-year Plan Project attended the meeting, including Hu Enhe, Office Director of the Marine Information Center and Vice Director Ren Liuyi, Li Chuncheng, Senior Engineer of Tianjin Science Research Institute, Yan Xiaodong, Director of Tianjin Economic Development Research Office, Niu Zhiguang, Director of SMST, Lu Wei, Researcher of Tianjin Institute of Social Sciences, Yao Yong, Researcher of National Marine Measurement Standard Research Center.

Niu Zhiguang extended his gratitude to all the units participated in this evaluation on behalf of SMST. He mentioned that SMST would do its best in the research of transformation and upgrade course of Tianjin marine industry of the 13th Five-year Plan and strengthen communication as well as cooperation between departments concerned.

On behalf of SMST, Doc. Xue Bin first gave a speech. Combined with current resources of Tianjin, he analyzed the present situation and problems of marine industry in Tianjin and proposed related suggestions for the transformation and upgrade course of marine industry.

The evaluation panel, consisted by Yan Xiaodong, Director of Tianjin Economic Development Research Office, Yao Yong, Researcher of National Marine Measurement Standard Research Center, Lu Wei, Researcher of Tianjin Institute of Social Sciences, and Wang Yan, Prof. of Nankai University, proposed sincere suggestions to this report and expressed their expectations.

SMST will make further communication and cooperation with departments concerned to make full use of research resources of marine science and enhance international exchange in order to improve the influence of SMST.
