Tianjin Mutual Observing, Mutual Competing and Mutual Learning Activities Enter into Marine Technology Research Center of TJU

On June 20, Tianjin’s mutual observing, mutual competing and mutual learning review and inspection activity is held in Nankai district. Municipal party secretary Sun Chunlan and other leaders come to Marine Technology Research Center of TJU (Nankai district) to check up the work, with party secretary of TJU Liu Jianping accompanying and deputy secretary and vice president Shu Gequn reporting work to the inspection team.

Vice president Shu Gequn introduces ocean 3I technology research center of School of Marine Science and Technology, marine charting and ocean engineering and structure test center, and optical fiber sensing research institution that enters into Marine Technology Research Center of TJU (Naikai) to municipal party secretary Sun Chunlan and other leaders. The inspection team mainly asks the system development and application about intelligent harbor, intelligent maritime, and intelligent shipping (3I) and asks about the underwater glider “Hai Yan” developed by school of mechanical engineering. Officials from School of Marine Science and Technology and School of Mechanical Engineering make specific introduction for the test team. Party secretary Liu Jianping and vice president Shu Gequn introduce the initial stage construction of School of Marine Science and Technology to municipal party secretary Sun Chunlan and the inspection team.

Party secretary Liu Jianping comments that the school will take advantage of ocean subject, integrate superior marine resources, strengthen coordination and innovation and service national strategy “ ocean boost the country” and the construction of “Tianjin national marine economic and scientific development demonstration zone”. Meanwhile, he calls on related departments to promote the development of Tianjin regional economic and the construction of “beautiful Tianjin”, as well pay attention to the culture construction.
